Fox Assigns 'Kitchen' Duty to Nicholas Brendon
The Hollywood Reporter announcement after Nick got the role.
LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - Nicholas Brendon, who played Xander Harris on the hit series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer," has been cast in a pilot for Fox.
"Kitchen Confidential" centers on a bad-boy chef at a top New York restaurant. Brendon will play another chef at the eatery.
In other pilot casting news:
- Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, who played the title character's daughter on the long-running CBS series "Nash Bridges," has landed a role on ABC's pilot "Adopted." The story line concerns a twentysomething guy (Andrew Walker) who finds out he is adopted and must deal with his two very different mothers. 'Keefe will play the guy's sister, a biological daughter of his adoptive mother. O'Keefe also is guest starring on the CBS drama pilot "Evidence" in a potential recurring role.
- Michael O'Neill has joined ABC's "Laws of Chance." The pilot revolves around a feisty female prosecutor (KaDee Strickland) in Houston who uses unconventional methods against the old-boy Texas defense attorneys. O'Neill, whose feature credits include "Traffic," "Seabiscuit" and "Secondhand Lions," will play her father.
