Nicholas Brendon
He plays: Alexander "Xander" Harris, and helps Buffy rid the world of bad guys in his own often-inpet, all-too-mortal way.
Birthday: Born in 1971, he turns 29 on April 21.
Hails from: Los Angeles.
Scoop on the bro: Brendon shares a Spanish-style house in Los Angeles with his identical twin brother, Kelly.
Hidden talent: Nicholas volunteered to help friend Alyson Hannigan (aka Willow) decorate her Los Angeles home.
He could have (not should have been: A baseball player. Nicholas had hopes of cracking the bat for beaucoup bucks, but an arm injury squelched his chances of a pro sports career.
How he paid his dues: After making his TV debut in a Clearasil commercial, he switched to the other side of the camera and became a production assistant on the sitcom Dave's World. But Brendon soon landed a guest-starring role on that same series.
Rock him gently: Brendon likes to chill out between takes on a rocking chair that sits outside his trailer.
Guiltiest pleasure: "Reruns of Magnum P.I. and Murder, She Wrote. Also puppies and frozen Snickers bars," he says.
The love lowdown: While Xander's had his ups and downs, Brendon says he's on a heart-tugging high right now. (Romantic hopefuls: Read no further.) "I have met the love of my life, Tressa. She's tops in my book," he says.
