A bloody good time was had by all at a Buffy the Vampire Slayer birthday bash
It was a night of the living undead--well, actors who play the undead on TV--as the cast of Buffy the Vampire Slayer descended on West Hollywood's hip tapas lounge Belly to celebrate Nicholas Brendon's turning 30.
"I've still got all my hair!" crowed the birthday boy (aka Xander Harris), which prompted his identical twin, Kelly, to plunge a metaphorical stake through his heart: "Yeah, dude, but you have had all those facelifts."
Across the cobalt-blue I Dream of Jeannie-esque room, Amber Benson proposed a toast with one of the bar's specialty cocktails, a Jellybelly (complete with a floating candy). And as the witching hour neared, Nicholas got one final birthday treat: His new Buffy action figure was unveiled, leading his onscreen girlfriend, Emma Caulfield, to comment, "You know, my family was more excited about me being an action figure than anything else in my career." Apparently you don't have to grow fangs to achieve immortality.
